Satus connects innovative originators with conscious private investors. It selects the most innovative projects and connects them with the sources of capital. Satus performs its tasks through the use of modern financial instruments, with the participation of business environment institutions, as well as academic and research institutions, financing its activity largely from the funds of the European Union.

The investors are mainly individuals with a significant financial commitment
(avg. ~ PLN 0.5 mil.) which support portfolio companies with their knowledge, market contacts and business connections. The investors are prepared for a long-term capital involvement in projects in the early stages of development, accepting high investment risk while expecting above-average rate or return.
– Academic and research institutions,
The companies to incubate new ventures (accelerators) are established together with the leaders in the academic and research field. In this way, it is possible to access the academic and research infrastructure, expert resources and independent structures to obtain and select the best projects from the academic and research environment. This in turn facilitates the difficult preparatory work for ambitious and innovative projects, with support from public funds.
– Closed-end Investment Funds,
Ordered tax and investment structures adjusted to long-term investments prepared according to the needs of SATUS. The created management structure allows for technical and legal support, creates standards for controlling, document flow and other support systems for portfolio companies.
Therefore, joining the SATUS Network of Private Investors means gaining access to the niche investment projects selected and prepared within the SATUS Group. The Network of Private Investors project has been implemented within the Innovative Economy Operational Programme, Priority III – “Capital for Innovation”, Activity 3.3. – “Creating a system facilitating investment in SMEs”
The SATUS structure was established in 2005 and since 2006 it has been conducting investment activity. The SATUS I Seed Capital Fund invested PLN 18 mil. in 9 innovative companies in the early stages of development. The fund was joined by 10 investors from the SATUS Network of Private Investors and BDM S.A.
Since 2010, investment processes in public facilities, shopping centers, warehouses and offices have been conducted within the Nieruchomości Komercyjnych SATUS Closed-end Investment Fund (the target capitalization of the Fund for investment shall be PLN 50 mil.)
Since 2011, investment processes in innovative technological companies in the early stages of development, with high growth potential, have been conducted within the Venture Capital SATUS Closed-end Investment Fund (Fund capitalization – PLN 50 mil.)
